Not if properly treated and maintained. We use marine-grade sealants and UV-resistant finishes on all timber signs. With proper treatment, wooden signs can last 10-15+ years outdoors. We recommend re-sealing every 2-3 years.
It depends on the material. Stainless steel and aluminium don’t rust. Brass and copper develop a natural patina (which many people love). Corten steel is designed to rust in a controlled way for an industrial look. We’ll recommend the right material for your application.
